Summer Ramble - 22 August - and date of next meeting

Central's Summer Ramble

will take place this year on Saturday 22 August in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK, where DF member David Edwards will lead us round the Old Town's many sites of Dickensian interest.

The route includes some hills but has no steps, stairs or stiles, and there are several places along the route to stop for toilets and/or refreshments. 

Walkers should meet at the main entrance of Hatfield Station at 1:45pm for a 2pm start. 

NB: we will see Hatfield House during our ramble,  but those wishing to visit it should do so in the morning as last admission is 4pm.

Our monthly meetings resume at The Charterhouse on Tuesday 22 September, 6 for 6:30pm.

Please sign in at the Porters' Lodge on arrival and you will be directed to our meeting room.
