ANNUAL WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY

The annual wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the 153rd anniversary of Dickens’s death took place at 18.00 at the grave in Westminster Abbey on Friday 9th June. The ceremony was attended by about 50 people and the Fellowship wreath was laid by historian, author and broadcaster Tom Holland FRSL. Pupils from Gads Hill (pictured below with Mark Dickens and Tom Holland) also laid a second wreath. The Fellowship thanks Tom Holland and the Dean and Chapter of the Abbey for making this possible.
