Dr Jeremy Parrott will deliver an entertaining presentation on 'Dickens and the English seaside holiday' in one of Dickens's own favourite seaside resorts: "our watering place". Our venue, The Pavilion, overlooks Viking Bay, which Dickens would have known as Main Bay.
