We are pleased to announce that the Central Dickens Fellowship Birthday Dinner will take place on Tuesday 7th February 2023 19.00 for 19.30. The venue this year will be the Hall of India, the Royal Over-Seas League, Six Park Place, St James’s, London (nearest underground station – Green Park). Click here for location
In the chair will be the Dickens Fellowship President, Professor Cathy Waters. We are delighted that the toast to the Immortal Memory will be proposed by Lucinda Hawksley. Apart from being the great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens, Lucinda is an author, lecturer and broadcaster. Amongst her published works are Charles Dickens’s Favourite Daughter (2013), Dickens and Christmas (2017), and Dickens and Travel (2022).
