IN CASE YOU MISS THEM.....

Submitted by Joan Dicks on 30 December 2011 - 4:37pm

If you were too busy with Christmas to tune in to Radio 4, you might like to catch up with A Tale of Two Cities with Robert Lindsay and Alison Steadman at http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/dickens. You could also listen to Dickens scholara Bob Patten in conversation with crime-writer, Frances Fyfield, actor, David Timson, and V&A manuscript expert, Rowan Watson, as they discuss Dickens's working methods while examining the manuscript of the 1859 novel of the French revolution. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b018grhw/The_Tale_of_A_Tale_of_Two_Cities/

The Mumbai Chuzzlewits, an Indian version of Martin Chuzzlewit set amongst the Catholic community in modern day Mumbai, will be on Radio 4 on Sunday afternoons from 1 January, at 3pm. Recorded on location in Indian the cast includes Roshan Seth, Karan Pandit, Zafar Karachiwala and Nimrat Kaur, with a script by award-winning writer Ayeesha Menon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/mumbai.
