The Dickens Fellowship is a very ‘organic’ organisation – it grows and shrinks and grows somewhere else. Since its foundation in 1902 many Branches have formed and disbanded, and others have formed and continue to flourish. There are currently over 50 Branches of the Dickens Fellowship and affiliated societies in existence, but there is plenty of potential for more! For the full list of Branches of the Dickens Fellowship click the Branches button at the top of the Home Page. If you are interested in forming your own Branch of the Dickens Fellowship, please see the advice given at the top of that page, in the link ‘starting your own branch.’
We are currently in touch with several enthusiastic people who are interested in creating new Dickens readings groups or new Dickens Fellowship Branches. Currently, ‘Dickens activists’ are working to find like-minded people in the following areas:
Further reading groups are proposed in Brisbane, Dallas and Germany. Please contact the Dickens Fellowship for further details firstname.lastname@example.org.
