Members of the Dickens Fellowship gathered at the National Liberal Club in London on Monday 8 February to celebrate the 198th birthday of Charles Dickens. Professor Grahame Smith, President of the Dickens Fellowship, was in the Chair, and Dr Tony Williams proposed the toast to the Immortal Memory. Guest speaker Adrian Wotton, Chief Executive of Film London, proposed the Toast to the Dickens Fellowship, to which Joan Dicks, Joint Hon Gen Secretary, responded. We are grateful to Peter Duggan for arranging such an enjoyable evening.
